Our babysitters are childcare professionals who will ensure your children
are settled and that you return to a tidy environment. All Freedom staff
are employed by us ensuring we can set acceptable standards for our clients
and ourselves. New Forest residents can join our membership scheme which
ensures availability of babysitters and enables regular users to access
preferential rates.
Join the premier membership and you can access booking on line, a parents
forum, sell unwanted child related items, download activity sheets and
take advantage of special promotions with restaurants and hotels.
In the New Forest, Lymington and Bournemouth we can also offer a mobile
crèche and nanny/au pair recruitment services.
New Forest Visitors
As a visitor you can book through your hotel or directly with us. We have
a minimum booking of 3 hours and costs do vary on a seasonal basis. Once
we have collected all the necessary information and have allocated an
appropriate babysitter/nanny we will take a deposit from your nominated
credit card. Our nannies/babysitters will be in touch with you directly
to introduce themselves. When the member of staff arrives at your temporary
location she will ask you to complete a time sheet that will be signed
at the end of the day/evening and be returned by the member of staff to
our office. Once we have this information we will calculate the total
cost, deduct your deposit and charge your card with the balance. An invoice
will be raised and sent to your home address.
Please note our staff are not authorised to take payment for hours worked,
any payment to our nannies/babysitters will be classed as a tip.
To monitor the performance of our staff and to ensure your satisfaction
our staff will leave a Praise card with you, please take the time to complete
this and return it to our office. We use these praise cards to determine
our employee of the month.
We have a large bank of staff, however during the summer season we are
very busy and would encourage bookings between April and September to
be made in advance.
A cancellation fee is also in place. Any bookings cancelled within 24
hours will be charged at the amount of hours originally booked. Any bookings
cancelled with 3 working days notice will be charged at a 3 hour booking
and bookings cancelled after 3 days will be charged at £10.
