Terms and Conditions 1) An engagement takes place when an applicant introduced to a prospective client by Freedom accepts either verbally or in writing the position offered by the client. The placement fees becomes payable by the client upon engagement. 2) Such an engagement is deemed to be an acceptance by the client of these terms and conditions. 3) An engagement is deemed permanent when the client with a permanent position employs the applicant. 4) If a client cancels the engagement, prior to the nannies commencement of work, a fee of £150.00 will apply to cover costs incurred. 5) If a prospective nanny cancels the engagement, prior to commencement of work, a full refund of any monies paid by the client will be issued. 6) Client transferring or giving names and addresses of applicants introduced to them by Freedom, to other third parties, will be responsible for the payment of full fees resulting by such an engagement. 8) In the event a temporary engagement becoming permanent, the appropriate permanent fee will become payable. 9) Whilst the utmost care is taken and the appropriate checks carried out Freedom cannot accept liability whatsoever or howsoever for actions of staff that our terms would not have highlighted. 10) Engagement fees are to be paid in full prior to the commencement of work by the Nanny. 11) A replacement will be offered to the client if the nanny is deemed to be unsuitable within the first two weeks of a temporary placement, and within the first four weeks of a permanent placement. An unsatisfactory placement must be notified to the agency in writing within these periods. It is the client's responsibility to confirm the actual start date with the agency so that the trial period is established. If there are reasonable grounds for finding the nanny's work or behaviour unsatisfactory during this period, then a replacement will be offered. Whilst the agency undertakes to replace an unsuitable nanny, refunds of placement fees cannot be given at any stage. If there are reasonable grounds for considering the family's treatment of the nanny unsatisfactory, no ct of the clients own staff. The client further undertakes to comply with all statutes, statutory regulations, bylaws, legal requirements or legal duties to which the clients or would be subject to in respect of his own business |
